A: Is this software free?
Q: Yes, the software is provided absolutely free of charge; however it consumes Internet traffic when downloading videos and unless you are using unlimited Internet connection, you will have to pay only for the Internet traffic consumed.
A: How do I convert a video to mp3?
Q: This is very easy to do. Copy a link from your browser (For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMOZf1T0wKU), paste the link into the program bar and press "Get MP3" button.
A: How long does it take to convert a video?
Q: It depends on duration of the video and its quality; usually it takes 1 or 2 minutes to convert a 5 minutes long video clip.
A: Why is the conversion error displayed?
Q: This can be caused by general video inaccessibility; check out if the video playback is correct using an ordinary browser. It is also possible that the application work is blocked by your antivirus or firewall. Refer to instructions for the respective software in order to fix it.
A: What is the reason of bad sound quality of an output mp3 file?
Q: Sound quality depends on the original video clip and cannot be higher than there. Try searching for a video clip with appropriate sound quality.
A: Where are the output files saved on my PC?
Q: Default settings imply saving files into "My Documents" folder, you can choose another folder to save the output files by pressing "Browse" button.
A: Is downloading audio files on my PC legal?
Q: Yes, it is: when you are viewing a clip online (for example, on YouTube) the video is downloaded on your PC into the "Temporary Internet Files" folder of your browser and is kept there until you delete it. The program does the same thing, but provides you with the opportunity to choose the destination folder yourself. You are allowed to use saved audio files for personal use only. We are not responsible for the content you download and do not recommend you to convert any copyrighted content.
A: Can I run the application on Windows XP, Vista or MAC operating system?
Q: Video to mp3 converter works stably on Windows XP/2000/2003/Vista/7, and the version compatible with MAC is currently under development and will be available later.
A: Is it secure to use the Youtube2mp3 converter?
Q: Yes, it is absolutely safe. The software does not contain any malicious add-ons. You can scan it with your antivirus to check that.
A: I got an "Invalid URL" error, but the video itself plays fine.
Q: This may be caused by three factors: 1) Video format is not supported. 2) Invalid URL syntax (The link must start with http://) 3) The video may be unavailable in your country.
